As a Senior Process Controller, you will be at the heart of Zeeman’s logistics operation.
From the Control Room, you will have real-time visibility of everything happening across our warehouse and play a key role in managing flow, capacity and overall performance.
What makes this role unique is the combination of direct operational responsibility and continuous improvement.
You will work in a rhythm where you:
- Spend two weeks managing and coordinating the operation from the Control Room
- Followed by one week fully dedicated to continuous improvement
Our brand-new shuttle system has only recently become fully operational. This means there is still plenty of opportunity to optimise processes, improve performance and further develop the way we operate.

As a Senior Process Controller, you identify opportunities for improvement, translate them into practical initiatives and ensure that improvements are successfully implemented and embedded within the operation.
During your operational weeks, you will:
- Take the lead when operational disruptions occur
- Continuously manage flow, capacity and priorities
- Monitor warehouse performance in real time
- Coordinate the right actions when issues arise
- Ensure the operation continues to run smoothly, even under pressure
During your continuous improvement weeks, you will:
- Analyse operational, performance and process data
- Identify recurring issues and structural bottlenecks
- Investigate root causes and develop sustainable solutions
- Translate insights into concrete improvement initiatives
- Implement improvements that directly increase efficiency, stability and scalability
You continuously move between operations and improvement, ensuring that operational insights are translated into structural improvements.
As a senior member of the team, you will also play an important role in bringing structure, overview and direction. You act as a trusted sparring partner for Process Controllers, WMS Specialists and Operations colleagues.
You will report to the Manager Control Room and work closely with Operations, Engineering and other stakeholders across the organisation.
Working hours
Our warehouse operates in two shifts. You will alternate weekly between the morning and evening shift.
Working hours:
- 07:00 – 15:30
- 15:30 – 22:15
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to building a stable, scalable and continuously improving logistics operation.
You will make an impact by:
- Improving overall warehouse performance by continuously managing flow, capacity and priorities
- Structurally improving processes and systems, particularly within the WMS and automated warehouse operation
- Reducing operational disruptions by not only resolving incidents, but also identifying and addressing their root causes
- Creating structure, clarity and calm within the operation, even during periods of peak activity
- Translating data and operational insights into concrete improvement initiatives with measurable impact
- Ensuring improvements are embedded in processes, systems and the team's ways of working
- Strengthening collaboration between the Control Room, Operations and Engineering
- Supporting and guiding colleagues by sharing knowledge and bringing structure and direction
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level, combined with a strong analytical mindset
- At least 5 years of experience in a Control Room or a comparable logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and system-driven operations
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated logistics environments
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture
- Experience leading, coaching or guiding colleagues is a plus
- Strong communication and influencing skills
