Over de functie
We zijn op zoek naar een Senior BI-specialist om ons Data & Insights-team te versterken.
In deze functie ontwerp en ontwikkel je Business Intelligence-oplossingen die onze teams en klanten helpen slimmere beslissingen te nemen. Je werkt met complexe datasets, ontwikkelt schaalbare Power BI-dashboards en vertaalt gegevens naar inzichten die een echte impact hebben op het bedrijf.
Je werkt ook samen met collega's in verschillende landen en helpt mee aan het vormgeven van de toekomst van de BI-capaciteiten van PFM.
Wat je gaat doen
BI-oplossingen bouwen en ontwikkelen
· Power BI-dashboards en -rapporten ontwerpen en ontwikkelen.
· Robuuste en schaalbare datamodellen creëren.
· Rapportage- en analysetools continu optimaliseren.
Data omzetten in inzichten
· Complexe datasets analyseren en trends en kansen identificeren.
· Data vertalen naar duidelijke, bruikbare inzichten voor het bedrijf.
· Teams binnen de organisatie ondersteunen bij datagestuurde besluitvorming.
De BI-roadmap van PFM ondersteunen
· Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van de BI-roadmap.
· Toegewezen BI-initiatieven leiden, van concept tot oplevering.
· Helpen bij het verbeteren van rapportagestandaarden en analytische capaciteiten.
Samenwerken binnen de organisatie
· Nauw samenwerken met internationale teams en belanghebbenden.
· Kennis delen en minder ervaren analisten begeleiden.
Wat je meebrengt
- HBO-niveau (of gelijkwaardig) werk- en denkniveau
- 3-5 jaar ervaring in een Business Intelligence- of analytische functie
- Sterke praktische ervaring met Power BI, inclusief DAX en datamodellering
- Gedegen kennis van datamodelleringsprincipes en BI-best practices
- Het vermogen om complexe datasets te vertalen naar duidelijke, bruikbare inzichten
- Een gestructureerde, analytische en kwaliteitsgerichte werkstijl
- Sterke samenwerkings- en communicatievaardigheden

- Kennis van AWS-omgevingen

Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels en combineert technische BI-expertise met het vermogen om zakelijke behoeften te begrijpen en deze te vertalen naar duidelijke rapportages en dashboards.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior BI Specialist to strengthen our Data & Insights team.
In this role you will design and develop Business Intelligence solutions that help our teams and clients make smarter decisions. You will work with complex datasets, develop scalable Power BI dashboards and translate data into insights that drive real business impact.
You will also collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and help shape the future of PFM’s BI capability.
What You’ll Do
Build and develop BI solutions
· Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
· Create robust and scalable data models.
· Continuously optimise reporting and analytical tools.
Turn data into insight
· Analyse complex datasets and identify trends and opportunities.
· Translate data into clear, actionable insights for the business.
· Support teams across the organisation with data-driven decision making.
Support PFM’s BI roadmap
· Contribute to the development and execution of the BI roadmap.
· Lead assigned BI initiatives from concept to delivery.
· Help improve reporting standards and analytical capability.
Collaborate across the organisation
· Work closely with international teams and stakeholders.
· Share knowledge and help guide less experienced analysts.
What You’ll Bring
- HBO level (or equivalent) working and thinking level
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence or analytics role
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
- Solid understanding of data modelling principles and BI best practices
- The ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
- A structured, analytical and quality-driven working style
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of AWS environments
- Experience working with retail, mobility or smart city data
