ppA leading international manufacturer in valve operation systems is seeking a Bid Manager to oversee global EPC projects. This role involves managing incoming enquiries, preparing technical and commercial project quotations, and overseeing the process from bid stage through to order handover. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThis role involves managing incoming enquiries, preparing technical and commercial project quotations, and overseeing the process from bid stage through to order handover. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liIndependently review RFQs and prepare complex technical/commercial proposals for large-scale EPC projects. /li liSubmit and follow up on quotations, maintaining up-to-date status in the CRM. /li liLiaise with customers, agents, and distributors, helping resolve technical and commercial queries. /li liCoordinate with internal departments to obtain accurate cost and delivery estimates for custom engineering solutions. /li liCollaborate with the technical team to tailor proposals and strengthen bids. /li liReview and prepare the technical scope for quotes, including specification evaluation and documentation. /li liEnsure contract and tender compliance, proactively addressing risk clauses. /li liContribute to annual sales and order targets. /li liOccasional travel (up to 20%) within Europe and internationally to visit key clients. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering (or equivalent). /li liMinimum8 years’ relevant experience in bid management and proposal engineering, especially for mechanical/equipment solutions in the oil gas, chemical, or industrial sectors. /li liTrack record in managing international EPC contractor projects. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liStrong commercial and technical acumen, with the ability to answer complex queries and compile thorough quotations. /li liFluent in business English (written and spoken), with proficiency in technical drawing interpretation. /li liAdvanced skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP/CRM systems (MS Dynamics beneficial). /li liDetail-oriented, strong team player, and able to manage multiple priorities. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills ul liExperience in the oil gas, chemical, or industrial sectors. /li /ul h3Pay Range and Compensation Package /h3 /h3pPermanent position based in either the Netherlands or the UK.
