Job description:

As a Service & Support Engineer, you will play a critical role within our Service and Technical Support Department, ensuring the optimal performance of our products and systems. Your responsibilities will span technical support, maintenance, and project management, with a focus on continuous process improvement and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Maintenance:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in equipment and systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide high-quality technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.

Project Management:

  • Manage mid and long-term customer projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Oversee project progress to maintain customer satisfaction and operational continuity.

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Work closely with the supply chain and warehouse teams to identify bottlenecks.
  • Establish proper inventory levels for products by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Communication:

  • Accurately document incidents, procedures, and solutions in our management system.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to propose and implement product improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision.

Requirements / Skills:

Technical Expertise:

  • Solid knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and computing.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

Project & Process Management:

  • Experience managing customer projects and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to empathize with and understand customer needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documenting technical processes and solutions.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Dutch, German, and/or Spanish is a plus
