Mission

We are looking for our Country Manager for our subsidiary Orapi Applied Benelu x, based in Alphen aan Den Rijn .

Orapi Applied Benelux, focused on maintenance products range dedicated forindustry & transport, represents a turnover of 3M€ and includes 15employees.

Role of the country manager :

The role of a GM is to ensure that the company achieves its strategic objectives and to provide leadership and direction to the executive management team and staff.

Your job responsibilities would typically include :

  • Play a lead role in shaping the culture of the company based on the ethos and values of the organization
  • Develop and deliver on the company’s strategic plan in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the company and for the day-to-day running and management of the company’s business, under delegated authority from the Board
  • High Market knowledge and overview, feedback and report to HQ
  • Responsibilities of the country manager :

    -LEADERSHIP :

  • Takes a leadership role in establishing and developing the company’s culture and values in liaison with the Board
  • Ensure that there is a fit between the culture, ethics and values of the organization, its strategy and the company’s structure, policies and procedures
  • Chair executive management team / staff meetings.
  • Manage, motivate, develop and lead members of the executive management and staff
  • Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the company’s objectives
  • Ensure effective management of human resources including recruitment, supervision and development. Maintain the organization’s policies, ensuring they are up to date, consistent, approved by the Board and implemented effectively
  • Encouraging the development of new and creative thinking that promotes and generates contributions to the well-being of people with learning and/or other disabilities
  • -STRATEGY :

  • Facilitate the development of the strategy, annual business plans and supporting budgets approval by the Board
  • Implement the strategic plan and annual business plan
  • Build relationships with the key commercial and other partners and stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of market and industry trends that have the capacity to impact the company
  • -OTHERS :

  • Ability and aptitude for networking
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
  • To approve Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001)
  • To make operational decision, value worth in accordance with APPROVAL AUTHORITY LEVELS (OPERATIONAL)
  • Profil

  • 10 years+ experience in chemical industry or technical products, ideally in maintenance or industry
  • Mandatory English fluent
  • Strong leadership skills, Strategic thinking, Adaptability, Strong communication skills and Decisiveness
  • Tertiary education in Sales Management & Chemical Engineering
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 internal auditor (To Become Certified)
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience Country Management
  • Must be able to be hand-on and multi-tasking preferred
